Can Walking Barefoot Lower Blood Pressure?

Since I was a kid, I’ve always walked barefoot inside our house.

My mother constantly reminds me to wear slippers most of the time.

Now that I am an adult, I have just realized why I was so accustomed to walking on barefoot.

It was actually helping me stay healthy all along - of course, hygiene properly taken into account here.

Walking barefoot can actually help LOWER BLOOD PRESSURE.

Walking barefoot to stay healthy, as many holistic experts would call, is termed “GROUNDING” or “EARTHING.”

It allows our body to draw the earth’s negative charge (electrons)

and it can help decrease inflammation, stress, and sometimes pain in our body.

Sadly, modern living has drawn us away from mother earth so most of us forget and don’t even know that some of the best therapeutic modalities in life are still FREE.

LOWERING BLOOD PRESSURE & CARDIOVASCULAR RISK

High blood pressure can be due to a lot of things, one of which is “hyperviscosity.”

It means that your blood is thick and it causes sub-optimal flow inside your arteries.

Hyperviscous state is a significant contributor to inflammation, high blood pressure, and cardiovascular events like heart attack and stroke.

This study examined the effects of 2 hours of grounding on the electrical charge (zeta potential) on red blood cells and the effects on the extent of RBC clumping.

The results were amazing!

Earthing/Grounding increased the surface electrical charge on RBCs and significantly reduced their aggregation.

REDUCED BLOOD VISCOSITY & CLUMPING

HOW TO DO GROUNDING/EARTHING?

If conditions permit, just go outside and walk barefoot for 20 to 30 minutes.

You should walk on earth’s natural conductive surfaces like grass, dirt, sand, or concrete.

Relax while walking, free your mind, enjoy the sun, and release your stress.

Coupled with the BENEFICIAL BLOOD LOWERING EFFECT OF THE SUN (Vitamin D effect), grounding definitely appears to be one of the CHEAPEST, SIMPLEST, and ENJOYABLE ways of lowering blood pressure and promoting better cardiovascular health.
